When the choice is heavy, keep the rhythm 🙏

Hello Reader,

News of the Week

Life is hard.

As much as it is for you, I feel the weight too.
This past week I was at a crossroads...

two good paths, both with pros and cons.

Either way could’ve worked… which made it harder.

When choices feel heavy, my instinct is what it’s always been since 2018...

when I left a “job for life,” a city I’d never left, and boarded a one-way flight with my wife following 2 weeks later

31 weeks pregnant.

No safety net. First time flying international.
Just faith… and a lot of tears, and deep breaths.

Back then, God met me in the uncertainty.
This week, He did again.

I slowed down. I prayed. I listened.
And I remembered: big outcomes are built by small faithful steps.

That's what it takes, with some faith.

The program I created for my community members, Stay Sane in 21 is honestly what kept me sane while deciding:

  • 🔥 Go Hard — 10-min HIIT when my head was noisy
  • 🚶 Go Light — 10–20 min walk to breathe and think
  • 🌙 Go Present — 5-min stretch, breathwork, gratitude before bed

Not glamorous. Not perfect.

But it kept me anchored... body, mind, spirit, so I could hear God and move with peace instead of panic.

My 3-step “Heavy Choice” framework

  1. Pray — “Lord, lead me. Close doors I shouldn’t walk through.”
  2. Put it on paper — Pros/cons, values, impact on family. If both are good, ask: Which path grows my character most?
  3. Proceed with peace — Make the call. Then execute the fuckin day

Because here’s the truth:

  • You can’t control every outcome.
  • You can control your rhythm.
  • And rhythm builds resilience.

If you’re carrying something heavy right now:

career, family, health

don’t white-knuckle December.

Pick the next faithful step. Keep your rhythm. Let God handle the rest.

January 2026 is around the corner, and inside my community, The Elevation Empire, we'll be setting intentions for the year!

Recipe of the Week

ZUCCHINI BREAKFAST WRAPS

Serves 2

1 zucchini

1 egg, for the crepe

1 clove of garlic, minced

2 tsp.+ 1 tbsp. olive oil

salt & pepper

2 tsp. thyme

1 tbsp. potato starch

1 tbsp. rice flour

4 eggs, whisked, for the filling

2 oz. (60g) smoked salmon

2 tbsp. chives

What you need to do

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with baking paper.

Grate the zucchini using a small-mesh grater, then place in a sieve and

squeeze firmly to remove as much liquid from the zucchini as possible.

Place the zucchini into a bowl and add the egg, garlic, 2 teaspoons of

olive oil, salt, pepper and thyme. Mix everything together, then add

potato starch and rice flour and mix again.

Divide the zucchini mixture equally into 4 and place on the lined

baking sheet. Spread the mixture into circles roughly 6-inches (15cm)

in diameter. Place the tray into the oven for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a non-stick

skillet, add the eggs and scramble gently over a medium heat. Then

remove the eggs from the heat to stop them cooking further.

Arrange the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs over the zucchini

tortilla. Sprinkle with chives and fold the sides of the zucchini tortilla

over the filling. Serve immediately.

Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. Let me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week This week I was busy AF!!! Last Monday, after a full day on site, I didn’t want to workout because I quite literally was “too busy” I got home later than normal, and instead of cracking open a beer and slouching on the couch, I got moving with my boys instead… After that session I asked myself a question: Why has “being busy" become some sort of bragging right? It should embarrass us...
