The shift that changed everything

Hello Reader,

I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU.

News of the Week

I used to be the dad with a beer belly and unfit AF.

I used to leave my favourite jeans top button untied and disguised with a belt.

Hidden behind oversized t-shirts…

I’d look in the mirror and not like the person I was becoming,

I'd see “bigger” parents walking their kids in prams and think they are being intentional.

While I was wasted and tired because I had more drinks than I should have the night before...

Maybe they have more willpower?

Maybe they just got lucky?

I was wrong about all of it.

Then, after receiving my very first Suunto Sports Watch as a gift from my employer, I tried…

A random run here,

a random workout there

The real problem was simple. I was playing the role of a parent trying to lose weight.

And that parent always fails.

They start over every few weeks.

They make excuses about their work schedules, run to take-outs over family dinners and blame work stress.

Then I unknowingly made one shift that changed everything.

I stopped trying to get fit.

I became the type of person who stays lean, fit and active.

Sounds weird but it fuckn works.

Once you become that person, your body just knows what to do.

You stop fighting yourself.

You stop needing motivation every single day.

It becomes automatic.

Now I step on the scale and I'm down a few kg’s. Not because I'm suffering.

Because this is who TF I am now.

You can make the same shift.

You can become the parent who leads by example.

But you need to design your own identity.

Not copy mine. Not follow some guru. Build yours.

The EMPIRE WITHIN, is just the tool to build and design your OWN Identity

4 weeks that will change your life...

Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. Let me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week Last week I kicked off a new soccer season with my new team. At 37 years old, with average technical ability… My biggest assets aren’t skill. They’re: Fitness, Energy, Leadership …and most importantly, a winning mentality. Some of the younger kids have unreal talent. I genuinely admire their skill. But when it comes to being the hardest worker in the room? They don’t come close. And...

Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. Let me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week This year, I moved towns. New environment. New routines. New normal. And during that transition… I focused on my family, my fitness, and settling into work and school life. But I’ll be honest… At times, I felt like I was letting my community down. And it led me to ask a simple question: Who do you surround yourself with? ...Have you ever really thought about that? That question...
