Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. βLet me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week Last night I found myself lying in the emergency ward after injuring myself playing soccer... Waiting for X-rays. Waiting for answers. Waiting. And funny enough... The thing I found myself thinking about wasn't work. It wasn't money. It wasn't my goals. It wasn't the million things I still need to do. It was a moment with my boys earlier this week. Cassius had just learnt how to fart with his arms. You know the one π The classic kid trick that's somehow survived every generation. And he was absolutely losing it. Laughing. Proud of himself. Having the time of his life. It was one of those random moments. Nothing important. Nothing significant. Just pure childhood joy. But while lying there in hospital... That moment stood out. Because one day those moments will disappear. The random Wednesday afternoon laughs. The silly games. The little voices. The requests to play. The moments that feel ordinary today. One day they'll be grown. Building lives of their own. And I found myself quietly asking: Did they feel deeply loved by me? Not perfectly parented. Not constantly entertained. Not given everything they wanted. Did they feel loved? Did they feel safe? Did they feel seen? Because years from now... They probably won't remember how stressed I was. Or how many hours I worked. Or what deadlines were on my mind. But they'll remember how it felt to be around me. The way I greeted them. The way I listened. The way my presence felt inside our home. That stuff matters more than most parents realise. Which brings me back to something I talk about often: We are the blueprint. Our kids are constantly learning from us. How we handle stress. How we handle setbacks. How we take care of ourselves. How we love people. That's why I believe fitness matters. Not because of abs. Not because of aesthetics. Because when we take care of ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually... We show up better for the people who matter most. Thankfully, the scans came back clear. Nothing broken. Just inflammation, bruising, and a decent amount of pain. I'll take that win. And today I'll be spending a little more time appreciating the random moments. Because one day they'll be memories. Iβm completing The Push-Up Challenge to level up mental health in Australia and would love your help to reach my fundraising target. All funds raised will support much-needed mental health services and initiatives in Australia. ππΏππΏ JOIN US ON THIS JOURNEY HERE ππΏππΏ "Come as you are. Place all the ingredients for the muffins into a large bowl and beat together with a wooden spoon to form a cake batter. Divide the mixture equally between each of the muffin cases and place the muffin tin into the hot oven. Bake the muffins for 25 minutes, by which time they will be cooked through and a little golden on the top. Remove the muffin cases from the tin and place on a wire rack to cool. While the muffins are cooling, make the frosting, by whipping together the vanilla extract, cream cheese and honey, adding a splash of water to slacken if needed. Once the muffins have cooled completely, spread the cream cheese icing on top. Question of the Week Who benefits when you're the healthiest version of you? Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. Let me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week This week I celebrated my 38th birthday. My family surprised me with one of the most thoughtful gifts I've ever received. A "5 senses" gift. Five small gifts. One for each sense. Simple. Meaningful. Perfect. Being sidelined with an injury also gave me something I don't often create enough space for: Reflection. And as I reflected on the year that was, I found myself writing this... 5...
Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. Let me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week The Push Up Challenge kicked off this week and I've already banked 442 Push Ups. Day 2's push-up target was 72. Not 70. Not 75. Seventy-two. And the reason behind it hit me harder than the push-ups themselves... 72% of men don't seek help when facing mental health challenges. Seventy-two percent. Nearly three out of every four men. If I'm being honest... I've been one of them. The guy...
Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. Let me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week I had one of those weeks. The kind where life just consumes you. Work demands. Family commitments. Deadlines. The kind of week where every hour gets allocated before you've even had a chance to think... And if I'm honest... One of those weeks where I briefly thought: "Maybe I should just fuckin quit." Not my family. Not my health. But the bigger vision I'm building. The mission. The...
