Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. βLet me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week This week, Cassius finished his very first season of soccer... With the Mighty Under 5 RAVENS. Tiny boots. Chaos everywhere. π Kids running in every direction. Sometimes toward the ball... Sometimes definitely NOT toward the ball. But fuck, I loved it... Because I had the privilege of being not only his coach, but a few more kids, Three years ago, I did the same thing for his older brother. And now I got to experience it all over again with my youngest. Honestly... I'm incredibly grateful. Not because we're developing the next Messi (although he thinks he is). At this age, half the battle is getting everyone facing the right direction. π It's because I realised we're laying something much more important than soccer skills. We're laying foundations. A foundation for movement. A foundation for teamwork. A foundation for confidence. A foundation for doing hard things. A foundation for being outside, getting sweaty, falling over, getting back up and having another crack. Hopefully... A foundation for a healthy, active life. And standing there coaching those kids this season reminded me of something I deeply believe: If we want to change the next generation, it starts with us. There's plenty wrong with the world. We can complain about society. Technology. Schools. Governments. Social media. Kids spending too much time on screens. People moving less. Families becoming disconnected. We can point fingers all fuckin day. But eventually... We've got to look in the mirror. Because I can't change the entire world. But I can change my lil empire. I can take my boys outside. I can coach their soccer team. I can let them see Dad train. I can involve them in movement. I can teach them how to lose. How to win. How to encourage their teammates. How to get back up. How to look after the body God gave them. And most importantly... I can live the example instead of just talking about it. That's our responsibility as parents. Our kids are watching... What we eat. How we move. How we speak. How we handle setbacks. How much time we spend staring at screens. How we treat our bodies. How we treat other people. We're giving them a blueprint... Whether we realise it or not. Everybody wants a better world for their children. But here's the uncomfortable question: Are we becoming the people capable of creating it? Because healthier communities don't magically appear. They start with healthier individuals. Stronger communities don't magically appear. They start with stronger families. And strong families start with parents willing to lead. You don't need to save the world. Neither do I. Start smaller. Change yourself. Then change your lil empire. Teach your kids. Lead your family. Help your neighbour. Coach the team. Serve your community. Show the next generation what healthy, active, purposeful living actually looks like. And let that example ripple outward. As I watched Cassius finish his first season... I realised we weren't just finishing something. We were starting something. Maybe one day he stops playing soccer. That's okay. I don't need him to become a soccer player. I want him to become a man who understands that movement is simply part of life. And if I can give him that foundation... I've done something worthwhile. Because the change we want to see in the next generation? It begins with the example they're watching today. And that starts with us. This Spring, weβre bringing back one of our favourite Elevation Empire programs. 4 weeks. HIIT + Pilates. Two very different coaching styles. One shared mission: To help busy parents move better, feel stronger, and get back into a rhythm that actually fits real life. ππΏππΏ JOIN US ON THIS JOURNEY HERE ππΏππΏ "Come as you are. Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. Let me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week This week was probably one of the most stressful weeks of my professional career. Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. Let me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week This week reminded me that the greatest investment you can make isn't with your money. It's with your time. Work has been demanding lately, My construction project has ramped TF up. Nadine's workload has been crazy too. By the end of the day, we're both tired. The easy option would've been to crash on the couch, scroll our phones, and promise ourselves we'd do better tomorrow....
