Hello Reader, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. βLet me know what you think of this newsletter please? News of the Week Three weeks ago I tore my groin. And if you've been following along, you'll know the injury didn't just take away my ability to run, train, or play soccer. It rocked my identity. The active dad. The runner. The soccer player. The guy who moves. Suddenly... I couldn't. But this week something changed... Hope returned... Not because I was magically healed. Not because the pain disappeared. Because I finally had a fuckn plan. The first thing I asked the physio was: "What can I do?" Not: "How bad is it?" Not: "When will I be normal again?" Just: "What can I do?" And that simple question changed everything. Because for the first time in three weeks, I had direction. I had actions. I had a path forward. I had something to work toward again. Then on Thursday... I walked back into the gym. Physio-approved. Modified. Limited. Far from my old self... But moving. And honestly? It felt amazing. Not because of what I did. Because of what it represented. Momentum. Hope. Progress. Walking out of that session, I couldn't stop thinking about this: No matter how heavy life feels right now... It's a moment. Not your forever. Whether you're: Struggling with your health. Feeling stressed at work. Unable to play with your kids the way you'd like. Navigating a relationship breakdown. Drowning in debt. Or carrying a burden nobody else can see... This season will pass. Just like weather changes. So will your circumstances. So will your emotions. So will your situation. Life isn't fair. Sometimes we create our own problems. Sometimes life hands them to us on a fuckn plate. Either way... Every single person will experience setbacks. That's part of being human. What determines your future isn't what happened. It's what you do next. That's the story. That's the chapter. That's the part you still get to write. Learn from the setback. Let go of the bitterness. Take the lesson. Then take the next step. No matter how small. No matter how slow. No matter how uncomfortable. Because one step forward is still one step closer. And sometimes... Hope returns the moment you start moving again. Let go of the bad. Learn what you can from it. Take a step in the right direction today. No matter how hard that may be. Do it. It's one step closer to where you want to be. "Come as you are. Leave a leader" πππTIME WAITS FOR NO ONE πππβ
